What we can verify after the mid-August universe bump — without inventing a monster list.
On 14 August 2026 the Lethal Ape Experience universe (8178086002) recorded a fresh update timestamp. The same day, the Survival Kit game pass was edited. The experience title still wears the Forest tag. The official description still says BETA, still recommends headphones, and still tells you to stay silent and hidden. This page is the mid-August field note. The outdoor layer itself lives on the Forest Update chapter.
We describe a public beta that received a patch, not a finished 1.0 ship. That wording is deliberate.
What the live page said after the bump

If your client title lost the Forest word overnight, walk the outdoor threshold anyway. Event chrome can leave while geometry stays. The forest map is the drill.
Survival Kit and the store
The Survival Kit pass (99 Robux on the store) promises a random shop item on respawn and names Speed Potion, Sonar, and Flashlight as examples. Its last edit lined up with the universe bump. That is the only shop-side change we can pin to that date without guessing.
The rest of the catalog — VIP, Advanced Radar, Infinite Speed Boost, Extra Item Capacity — was already on the store from earlier in 2026. We do not claim those SKUs “dropped” in August. We do claim you should re-read shop and passes after any 14 August-style bump, because pass text is allowed to move in a beta.
What we will not add from rumor
Tracker blogs and comparison sites recycled two proper monster names during Forest week. This wiki still will not print unverified names as fact. File what you meet as a type on lab monsters or forest monsters. When the client labels a body, the label goes on the roster.
We also will not embed a YouTube “all jumpscares” clip that belongs to gub_dev’s Lethal Ape. Wrong place ID, wrong shop, wrong scientist. Vs Lethal Ape exists so that mistake dies once.
How to play the week after a bump
- Confirm creator and place ID on official links.
- Headphones on. The official sentence did not change. Headphones.
- Scout the lobby tables and any shop wall. Do not redeem “codes.” There is still no confirmed box. Codes hub.
- One quiet lab loop from Getting Started.
- One Forest landmark loop if the door is still there.
- Extract. Write one new cue. Stop.
That is the same playlist as the Updates Hub. Mid-August did not invent a new personality for the beta. It proved the studio can edit a pass and a universe on the same afternoon while the stealth copy stays on the page.
Codes, scripts, and the bump
A universe timestamp is catnip for fake code lists and “new ESP for Forest.” Treat both as hostile until proven. Scripts that target other ape place IDs will mis-tag outdoor nodes. Read ESP and auto farm if you were going to ignore that sentence anyway.
What “updated” does not mean
It does not mean the beta ended. It does not mean VIP servers appeared. It does not mean a redeem box appeared. It does not mean you should skip the lab for trees. It means you should walk yesterday’s loop once with your hands off the sprint key and see whether a door, a table, or a kit text moved.
