Lethal Ape Experience Tier Lists
What actually costs a run — not a popularity contest of jumpscare thumbnails.
A tier list for a public beta is a liability if it pretends to be a finished meta. Lethal Ape Experience still changes rooms and hunters. These lists rank cost of a mistake and reliability of a tool, not Instagram scariness.
Two child pages live here:
- Monster threat tiers — sight, sound, ambush, and Forest stalkers.
- Item value tiers — what to pick up, what to ignore, what we refuse to price.
Read them with the monster roster and the Guides Hub. A rank without a counter is just a vibe.
How we rank during Forest season
S-tier means a single mistake ends the run for most players. C-tier means you can recover if you still have an exit. We do not rank “cool model” or “loud jumpscare.” A cheap jumpscare that you can walk away from is not S.
Forest threats can outrank lab threats on a given night because outdoor distance lies. That does not make the lab safe. It means your forest map loop has to start earlier.
What will never appear here
- Gold-per-ingot tables copied from gub_dev’s place.
- A weapon DPS ladder for guns this experience has not confirmed.
- Script rankings. Those belong on the Scripts Hub with risk notes, not on a skill list.
If a patch prints official names and shop prices, we will add rows. Until then, the lists stay short and testable. Play one session with the survival checklist and see whether your deaths match the S-tier types. If they do not, the list is wrong for your server, not the other way around.
Use How to Beat Monsters as the companion essay. The hub is the index; that guide is the drill.
How to argue with a rank
If your stack swears a sight hunter is S-tier, ask whether they were crossing an open lab with loot in both hands. If they were, the rank is still B and the player is C. If they were walking a wall and still died through a solid, then the type moved and we will move the row.
Bring a clip that shows the place name. Clips from another ape title do not change this list. The review exists so that argument has a home besides the comment box.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is this tier list official?
No. It is a fan ranking of mistake cost in the Breet Studios beta.
Why are there so few rows?
Because we will not invent a 52-monster ladder. Types stay until names are stable.
Will Forest change the list?
Outdoor stalkers can sit higher on noisy weather nights. Recheck after a title-screen event tag.
Do scripts change tiers?
They change your risk of a ban, not the hunter’s design. Keep them off this list.
